Tofol.Kosrae Agriculture Station breadfruit collection. Downstream of Ragone 600, growing in streambed across from third building in complex. Collection planted in the 1970s under the direction of Critin Philips.
Plant Description:
No fruits. Long, narrow leaves moderately dissected with 3-4, mostly four pairs of lobes with slightly undulate margins. Dull, flat-green blade with light-green veins. Profuse short, somewhat appressed white hairs on all surfaces. Juvenile leaves are exceptionally large (-.75 m) with very widely spaced lobes. Very hirsute, sticks to clothing.
