Allerton Garden in Lawai Valley, W side of Lawai Stream, just S of Pandanus collection and N of Micronesian riparian forest area, elevation 2-3 m.
Plant Description:
Tree 8 m tall with 4 stems 10-15 cm diam. Flowers with calyx & epicalyx green; corolla rose to purple-red within, column pink, anthers & stigma yellow. Cultivated, unaccessioned, horticultural origin. Native to Puerto Rico.
