Plant Description:
Shrubby perennial with prostrate, trailing stems. Corolla orange yellow. Common or dominant locally, endemic.
Habitat:
Low coastal vegetation over lava and coral sand dunes.
Associated Species:
Sida fallax, Nama sandwicensis, Ipomoea pes-caprae, I. stolonifera, and Sporobolus virginicus.
