Plant Description:
Tree of 15 ft.; leaves alt., blade dark glossy green above with yellowish veins, below duller, paler green with raised yellow-green veins; petiole pale green; flowers cauliflorous, buds whitish-green, pedicel pale green; open flowers: calyx turning greenish-yellow, splitting irregularly, petals five, very pale orange. Flowers produce copious amounts of sweet nectar (flowers collected 27.i.1995); fruit dull, velvety green olive green with indented nipple, flesh sweet, orange, with five seeds (fruit collected 26.viii.2004).
