Plant Description:
Small tree or large shrub, stems and leaves glabrous, corolla white. Seeds covered with long, brown hair like a wild cotton. Seeds coll by Mr. Johnson on Tahuata Island; seed sent to Dr. Sachet, v Maclet of Tahiti. Sachet sent some seed to William Theobald. Stand is original tree with surrounding seedlings on Tahuata.
