Plant Description:
Shrub to 1 m tall. Corolla orange yellow. Localized population on dry ridgetop.
Habitat:
Diverse mixed mesophytic forest, stunted on windward side and taller on leeward side of ridge.
Associated Species:
Acacia koa, Metrosideros, Canthium, Santalum, Cyanea & Bidens.
