Plant Description:
6 m tall tree, 30 cm dbh; in early bud and flower, no seeds; numerous dead branches and termites in trunk; corolla brick red.
Habitat:
Diospyros sandwicensis lowland dry forest.
Associated Species:
Myoporum, Pouteria, Colubrina, Lantana, Pennisetum setaceum.
