Plant Description:
Single trunk, small tree approximately 4m ht., 10 cm DBH w/ many maroon to pink flowers scattered beneath tree; flowers yellow when first open, turning darker, redder by end of day no fruits present. Leaves green above, paler below; heavily eaten by Japanese Beetles, paler below. (clone of #720549.001). Plants subject to cultivation such as: pruning and shaping. NTBG acc.#900359.002
