Waimea Canyon drainage, Koaie Canyon, below Lonomea Camp, south side of stream, ca. 2.25 miles in on Koaie Trail, above trail at dry waterfall. Elev. 1400-1550 ft.
Plant Description:
7 small trees 8 ft. ht., with flowers and fruit.
Associated Species:
Diospyros sandwicensis lowland mesic forest with Myrsine, Nestegis, Canthium, Erythrina, Sapindus, Melia, Lantana, Aleurites.
Comments:
Seeds removed for viability study by D. Wolkis, K. Jones, N. Ronsted
