Road from Utwe to Walung, ca one km east of Sipyen Waterfall.
Plant Description:
Tree of 30 ft.; leaves dark +-glossy green above, dull grey- ishwhite below with raised pale yellow green veins; tepals five, faintly greenish-white, faintly fragrant (11 am), fruit a brownish-green bur with five locules.
Habitat:
Lowland wet agroforest and secondary vegetation along roadside.
Associated Species:
Hibiscus, Horsefieldia, Campnosperma, Ficus, Chromolaena, Nephrolepis, and Dicranopteris.
