Plant Description:
Tree, about 5 m. dbh about 10 cm. FLowers white, fruits are light green with reddish color. N.V. Chermallucheang/bebechelut [Palauan].
Ethnobotanical Notes:
Construction/materials: The bark is used for making strong rope. Remove the outside of the bark, and use the inside white part. It is used to carry swamp taro (Cyrtosperma chamissonis, #4440); to tie baskets together. (DN).
