Tree 30 m tall, stem 60 cm in diameter, flowers white, fruits greenish. N.V. koatun [Pohnpeian].
Ethnobotanical Notes:
Leaves: Boils. Medicine for unopened boil (unwpwos sarawi). Pound 4 shoots of young leaves and place it on the boil. This treatment is repeated until it is opened and the pus comes out. Informant: Elpihter Albert, Dipwinmen clan, Pohnpei, housewife, female, 34 years old.
