Poipu. National Tropical Botanical Garden, Visitor's Center. Just right of entrance road and below lowest parking lot.
Plant Description:
Tree of 25 ft., trunk and stems greenish; petioles pinkish; leaflets dark green with whitish midrib, below dull pale green with whitish to pinkish, especially at base. Fruit pendant, drying woody brown, splitting and releasing cotton.
