National Tropical Botanical Garden in Lawai Valley. Lower Valley, on W side of stream opposite nursery and Pump 6.
Plant Description:
Small tree 4 m tall with densely branching crown. Dioecious, staminate flowers w pale green, petals pale orange-yellow, stamens yellow; sweetly fragrant (10 am). Cultivated from seed collected on Nuku Hiva, Marquesas Is. (Perlman 10,013).
