Plant Description:
Scattered clumps, about 20 clumps seen, plants with flowers and fruit, patches 10 ft. ht.
Habitat:
Native vegetation mostly on a'a lava flows, in Erythrina sandwicensis lowland dry forest.
Associated Species:
Reynoldsia sandwicensis, Nesoluma polynesicum, Sida fallax, Chenopodium oahuense, Achyranthes splendens var. splendens, Diospyros sandwicensis, Nototrichium sandwicense, Rauvolfia sandwicensis, Chamaesyce, Myoporum, Capparis, Acacia koaia, Prosopis.
