Shrub of seven ft.; leaves dark glossy green above, paler, glossy below; perianth of six parts, creamy yellow with dark pink; ovaary bright green. Flower with a strong fruity odour (2 pm). Rec'd from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh. NTBG acc.#780307002
