Plant Description:
Tree of 18 ft. Young stems and petioles brick red; leaves dark, mat green with yellow-green to very slightly pink tinged midrib above, below dull, pale green with yellow-green midrib and lateral veins; petals five, dark lilac; stamens numerous, anthers bright yellow.
