Plant Description:
Tree 3.5 m tall with whorls of widely spreading, horizontal branches, bark whitish with dark ridges excurrent from bases of leaves and stems. Flowers buds green flushed with red, smelling strongly of cat urine. Petals and stamens white, style greenish white, stigma sticky, green. Flowers smelling faintly of green peaches (midday), nectar abundant. Received from index seminum of Hort. Bot. Austro-Sinensis, Kwangchow, China. NTBG acc. #850532001
