Plant Description:
Tree, 10 m tall, 40 cm-dm, whitish, fruits greenish.
Ethnobotanical Notes:
Leaves antidiarrheal. Medicine - to cure diarrhea of children. Take four shoots of the leaves, pound and wrap in a piece of cloth. Squeeze in cup of water and drink. Repeat this treatment every day until cured. Informant: Simwolihna Obisbo: Pohnpei. Female. N.V. wihnmoar [Pohnpeian].
Habitat:
Fresh water swamp.
