Tree, stem 40 cm in diameter, 7 m tall; flowers white-blue-red; fruits greenish. N.V. wihnsed [Pohnpeian].
Ethnobotanical Notes:
Bark: Poisoning. To cure food and drink poisoning. Cut the bark in any measurement needed, pound and wrap in a piece of cloth, squeeze in one liter of water. Drink the whole water right away. After drinking this medicine you will start vomiting, this is good because you are vomiting up the poisonous food and water. Informant: Loreda Dores: Pohnpei. Female.
