Kayangel, the main island of Kayangel atoll; southern interior part of island. Elev. 10-16 ft. = 3-5 m.
Plant Description:
Shrub to 2.5 m tall. Flowers with red corolla, fruits green ripening black. Naturalized, scattered along roadside.
Habitat:
Agroforest interspersed with coastal forest elements on coral sand and rubble substrate.
Associated Species:
Cocos, Artocarpus, Musa.
