Toovii Region, NW of l'Economie Rurale complex along new road to airport over flanking mountains. Elev. 1020-1030 m.
Plant Description:
Tree 6m x 12 cm. Fruits urceolate, fleshy, light green to pinkish green, hollow and completely enclosing a single black seed. Occasional on steep slopes.
Habitat:
Steep, forested slopes w/ primary montane rain forest.
Associated Species:
Cyathea, Crossostylis, Freycinetia, Fagraea, Psychotria, Hernandia nukuhivensis, Macropiper, w/ numerous epiphytes and fern understory.
