Shrub 5 ft. dbh 30 cm. Flowers white, no fruits.
Palauan name: Korrai, Kirrai
Ethnobotanical Notes:
Medicinal - Used for the treatment of Type II diabetes. Take the 7 youngest fully formed, non-infected, intact, leaves from the center of the plant; this portion is removed by breaking off all together at the stem. These are boiled with water and drunk. This treatment is taken once daily foor strength ( resilience), treat diabetes, or as a general health tonic. (RS)
