Plant Description:
Shrub 1.5 m tall (others much taller), flowers white; fruit white, fleshy. Abundant, codominant in vegetation.
Habitat:
Flat coral sand toward inner beach, becoming more and more rocky toward outer beach and passage; vegetation, much disturbed by bombs and bulldozers, is basically a brushy forest. Inner portion cleared and planted to coconuts.
Associated Species:
Scaevola, Pisonia, Guettarda and Ochrosia, with some Morinda and scattered Pandanus
