Plant Description:
Shrub of 5 ft.; leaves dark, dull green above, semi-glossy grey-green below. Voucher for chloroplast DNA survey.
Habitat:
Metrosideros dominated wet forest.
Associated Species:
Perrottetia and Diplazium in fairly heavy shade.
