Collected along paved road on homestead in agroforest.
Plant Description:
Tree approx. 15 ft (4.6 m) in height. Tree trunk very skinny without branches. Leaves: alternate, dark green on upper and lower surface, waxy and thick with 5 points and long petiole that is almost same length as leaf. Stem brown lenticels sap is sticky. N.V. Soakoan [Pohnpeian].
Ethnobotanical Notes:
Fruit: For swollen testicles. Take one fruit, cut in half or spit into two, and place into a piece of cloth, then squeeze the juice on the testicles. Apply until it is healed.
Associated Species:
By betel nut, coconut, and breadfruit.
