The Rock Islands. Collected from forest understory in treefall gap.
Plant Description:
Small tree, 7 m tall. Dark brown bark, peeling back along trunk. Red flowers.
Habitat:
Wet tropical evergreen forest on raised limestone island.
Associated Species:
Horsefeldia and Artocarpus in overstory.
