Plant Description:
10 m tall tree; 30 cm DBH; in flower and fruit; 30± leaves in crown; 20± trees in 1000 sq m area; north aspect with mild slope.
Habitat:
Metrosideros-Dicranopteris-Pisonia lowland wet forest.
Associated Species:
With Hesperomannia, Adenophorus periens, Joinvillea, Pritchardia, Tetraplasandra, Syzygium, Psychotria, Cyanea, Freycinetia, Broussaisia, Cibotium, Antidesma, Dubautia, Alyxia, Cheirodendron, Boehmeria, Urera, numerous pteridophytes in the shrub layer.
