Plant Description:
Axis 0.30 m high, 22 cm diam. Crown including 28 leaves. Leaf base 0.75-0.85 m long, petiole 0.48-0.56 m long. Lamina palmate, 1.65 m long, 1.20-1.25 m wide; stongly undulate, segment tips drooping. Inflorescences interfoliar, branches to 4 orders, the whole 1.0 m long; basally branched; shorter than petiole in flower and fruit. Rachillae with pale pink, persistent, felt-like indument. Voucher for P. B. Tomlinson et al., Anatomy of Palms.
