Collected in the village Enipein Powe, up on the hillside.
Plant Description:
Tree about 30 ft (9.1m) tall. Leaf; dark green above, light below. Black dots under the leaf. Petiole brown with black spot, banch light green. N. V. Kengid [Pohnpeian].
Ethnobotanical Notes:
bark For man sickness. Carve the bark, clean, put into kettle of water and let it boil for 5-10 minutes, then drink. Drink as cup of coffee for 8 days or until feeling better.
Habitat:
Shaded area, near where we found dohng, kehnmant, karara and ken. Growing between kaikes aand keleu.
