Plant Description:
Next to stream, clumping on stream bank above falls. Leaf blade dk green. Remnant leaf sheath rd-brn. Spadix mostly immature, flw wt., fruit fleshy white aggregate. Pohnpeian: Sawahm Pi, Oht, Sapwikin.

w/ Clinostigma, Campnosperma, Sphaeropteris, Pandanus, Gynotroches, Ilex, Syzygium carolinensis, Ficus, Asplenium nidus, Astronidium, Melastoma, Psychotria homberiana, Timonius, Aglaia, Melicope, Croton, Planthera, numerous pteridophytes.
