Plant Description:
tree, 7 m tall, 50 cm dia. @ base, comparatively small leaves
Associated Species:
Metrosideros 40-60% closed w/ 12-15 m tall canopy, understory of Perrottetia, Psychotria spp, Dubautia spp, Labordia spp, Tetraplasandra kavaiensis, T. oahuensis, rich fern and bryophyte understory.
