Plant Description:
Canopy tree 10 m tall w broad, dense spreading crown. Leaves dk. shiny green above, pale whitish-green beneath. Corolla white fading yellow, fragrant. Ripe fruit orange-red, 4 x 2. 5 cm, ellipsoid-ovoid, seeds brown. Seed voucher NTBG 980196
Habitat:
Primary evergreen wet forest.
Associated Species:
Symplocos, Wikstroemia, Commersonia, Campnospersus, over lateritic soil.
