Kanaio, Puu Pimoe, National Guard firing range area, east facing slope on back side of Puu away from Highway, upper slope below cliff face.
Plant Description:
Only 3 plants seen, were 7 more several years ago, 6 dead trees seen, Large tree, 6 ft. ht. with flowers and fruit at 1420 ft. elev. and 1 small tree 5 ft. ht. flowers, no fr. at 1400 ft. and 1 shrub 3 - 4 ft. ht. no flowers no fruit
Habitat:
In Alien veg. degraded Dodonaea viscosa shrubland.
Associated Species:
Lipocaeta lavarum, Argemone glauca, Styphelia, Erythrina sandwicensis, Lantana, Rhynchelytrum repens,Schinus, Nicotiana glauca, Chamaecristae nictitans, Leucaena leucocephala
