Plant Description:
Collected one short, stout peduncle w/ flower which appeared to be female; dissecting scope showed only male; 3 fruiting stout peduncles were observed; male peduncles appear filiform. 50 deg NE aspect; w/ 45-50 deg tallus slopes.
Habitat:
Mixed native coastal shrubland.
Associated Species:
Senna gaudichaudii, Lipochaeta lavarum, Waltheria,Chamaesyce celastroides var. amplectens, Bidens mauiensis, Panicum torridum, Eragrostis cf atropioides; indications of Bulwers petrel & Wedgetail Shearwater nesting sights.
