Plant Description:
Tree of 12 ft, lvs mat, med. green above, dul lbelow w/ raised 2 & 3 veins; inflorescence erect, ca 14 flowers/node, calyx pale green at base becoming orange-green at apex, corolla brilliant scarlet fading dark wine. Cult. Brazil (Krukoff 1973-20).
