Locality:
Lawai Valley, NTBG Nursery. Seeds collected near Nosara, Guanacaste, Nicoya, Costa Rica along roadside. Parent may have been cultivated. Area degraded w/ agriculture & grazing cattle. Parent tree was thornless. Ele 40 ft/ 12 m.
Plant Description:
NTBG Acc# 930071. Leaves and flowers present. Leaflets have networked venation beneath, paler green beneath. Flwrs vary from salmon to red; flowers are narrow with folded banners. Corolla from 2.5 cm to 9 cm long. Sepals ca. 2 cm.
