Locality:
Kalalau Valley, along the side of the main stream. In understory.
Plant Description:
Tree about 12 ft. tall. Secondary veins visible near midrib. Lvs light green w/ dk green venation below, above dk green dull. Petiole w/ light green wing. Flws congested on peduncles. Leaf margin revolute. Branches upright, some lateral w/ smaller upright branches. Few trees along the river or on the walls.
Associated Species:
Aleurites moluccana, with Psidium guajava, and Christella parasitica.
