Terrestrial rhizome sub-erect, on steep slope, 5 fronds per rhizome, stipe black-brown with red-brown wings, ca 10 plants.
Habitat:
Acacia-Metrosideros montane mesic forest.
Associated Species:
With Alphitonia ponderosa, Styphelia tameiameiae, Dodonaea viscosa, Psychotria mariniana, Zanthoxylum dipetalum, Tetraplasandra kavaiensis, rich with sedges and grasses.
Comments:
