Plant Description:
this Sesbania tomentosa population can fluctuate between ca. 50 and 400 individuals each year depending on rainfall, during this visit the population was stressed-out from drought with only around 50 shrubs. Note: only a few healthy seeds were being produced.

Dry herbland/grassland.
Associated Species:
With Waltheria indica, Sida fallax, Sesbania tomentosa, Portulaca molokiniensis, Bidens mauiensis, Melanthera lavarum, Capparis sandwichiana, Argemone glauca, Heteropogon contortus, Eragrostis leptophylla, Panicum torridum, Panicum fauriei var. latius, Jacquemontia, Ipomoea tuboides.
