Plant Description:
Epiphytic on fallen Cocos; nest-forming, rhizome shortly erect; fronds erect, dark glossy green above with raised, rounded dark greenish-brown midrib, below glossy paler green with dark brown midrib.
Habitat:
In coastal forest with canopy dominated by Sonneratia and mangroves (Rhizophora and Brugieria), Barringtonia, Cocos, Pandanus, Clerodendron, and Derris.
Comments:
Specimen consists of two sheets (024273 & 055945).
