Locality:
Puu Alii NAR, southwestern section of reserve, drainage below camp.
Plant Description:
Herb, 25 cm tall, stems yellow-green, early flower, 5 plants observed below LZ-2 and below prominent ash-gray basalt walls of large drainage.
Habitat:
Metrosideros-Cheirodendron montane wet forest.
Associated Species:
Perrottetia sandwicensis, Broussaisia arguta, Coprosma ochracea, Ciboteum glaucum, Sadleria pallida, Freycinetia arborea, Astelia menziesiana, Hedyotis terminalis, Nertera granadensis, ferns common in understory with thick bryophyte cover terrestrially and in shrub layers.
