Shrub, stem 2 cm in diameter, 3 m tall, flowers reddish. N.V. dihng weitahta [Pohnpeian].
Ethnobotanical Notes:
leaves: Analgesic. Back pain, muscle pain, headache, and joint pain. Take two shoots of the young leaves, pound and wrap in a piece of cloth, squeeze in 1 liter of water. Drink this amount of medicine every day until it cures these pains.
