Locality:
Waipa ahupua'a SW of Waipa Stream. Elev. 150-960 ft.
Plant Description:
Tree of 20 ft. Phyllodes grey-green. Flower buds yellow-green; open flower heads whitish-green. Not uncommon.
Habitat:
Pasture land and secondary forest giving way to Metrosideros dominated forest near base of ridge that forms natural boundary of area.
Associated Species:
Psidium spp. and Pandanus on low hills leading to base of ridge.
