Plant Description:
Young tree 2.5 m tall, crown dense, rounded. Phyllodes unusually wide. Pods green. Large population of 400-500 trees on NE-facing slopes, many juveniles. Endemic.
Habitat:
Secondary forest.
Associated Species:
Rhodomyrtus tomentosa, Ardisia elliptica, Psidium cattleianum, Eucalyptus, Melaleuca, and remnants of Acacia koaia lowland wet forest.
