Plant Description:
Low tree 4 m branching 0.5 m above ground (reaches 8 m x 1 m dbh), crown rounded, spreading. Flowers cream. Young fruits green, when mature wide and curling. Locally common. Endemic.
Habitat:
Low, somewhat dry forest and shrubland.
Associated Species:
Metrosideros polymorpha, and Styphelia tameiameiae.
