Plant Description:
Low tree 3 m tall with spreading crown, phyllodes dull green. Flowers yellowish white. Fruits slightly curling, seeds oriented mostly obliquely. Locally common, endemic.
Habitat:
Diverse mixed mesophytic forest with Acacia koa, stunted on windward side and taller on leeward side of rige.
Associated Species:
Metrosideros, Canthium, Santalum, Cyanea & Bidens.
