Mauka of Kilauea. E of Kalihiwai Reservoir bordered by Kalihiwai Ditch and Pohakuhonu and Halaulani streams.
Plant Description:
Tree of 25 ft. along western edge of bog. Phyllodes dark dull green. Immature inflorescence greenish-yellow.
Habitat:
In extensive bog area.
Associated Species:
With Metrosideros, Psidium, Melastoma and Dicranopteris.
Comments:
Specimen consists of two sheets - 007556 & 007557
