Lihue-Koloa Forest Reserve. Along ridge ESE of Puu Kolo. . Elev. 1200-1700 ft.
Plant Description:
Common trees in lower forest just above cane fields. Pods seem to be similar to A. koaia.
Habitat:
Lower ridge in diverse forest.
Associated Species:
Metrosideros, Acacia, Canthium, Cyanea, Bidens, Myrsine and Dicranopteris with rather stunted vegetation on the windward slopes of ridge.
