shrubs with spreading roots, 2.5 m tall, stems green, lower nodes spaced 25-35 cm, upper nodes spaced 7-15 cm, 4 patches on south side of stream, each patch ca. 4 m sq, roots collected for propagation
Habitat:
Aleurites non-native forest associated with mesic Diospyros-Nestegis relic forest.
Associated Species:
With Pisonia umbellifera, Wikstroemia oahuensis, Freycinetia arborea, Ochrosia kauaiensis, Psydrax odorata.
